Steps to get you started using Video Call for consultations with patients


Welcome to healthdirect Video Call. Our service is designed specifically for health consultations and is simple and intuitive to use. The information in this NSW Health portal will assist you in becoming familiar with the service and the available clinical applications and tools, designed to enrich the video telehealth experience for health service providers and patients.

1. How do I get my account?

To be added to one or more clinics in the Video Call service, contact the telehealth contact for your organisation or LHD. Once you have bee added as a team member in one or more clinics, sign in using your NSW Health email address to access your virtual clinic/s. Contact information can be found on this page.

2. Video Call Training

healthdirect Video Call training is provided by the Video Call team and there are various options to choose from (Train-the-trainer, clinic administration and health service provider sessions). Visit this page to view and register for one of the available sessions. There are also links on the page for training pages aligning with your role in the Video Call service and videos to assist with familiarisation.
