Clinic Waiting Area configuration - Waiting Area Hours

Configure the waiting area hours of operation for your clinic


Organisation and clinic administrators can manage the clinic Waiting area hours to suit the clinic requirements. When the clinic is open, callers will be able to use the clinic link to arrive in the waiting area for their appointment or on demand consultation. To access the clinic waiting area configuration section, clinic and organisation administrators go to the Clinic LHS menu, Configure > Waiting Area.

Set the hours of operation for the clinic waiting area. The default setting is 00:00 - 2400 hours each day, which means it is always open. Please note that even if callers access the waiting area outside of your normal operating hours, there is no security risk and they will simply not be joined by any of your team members.

The Video Call clinic can be set to more extended hours of operation than your physical clinic, in case a health service provider has scheduled a Video Call outside of normal hours or runs over time.

If you edit the waiting area hours, click Save to apply any changes.


 

In this example the hours have been changed and the changes have not yet been saved.

Click the Add Break button to include breaks in the daily schedule, if desired. Breaks are times where the clinic will not be open for a specified period during the day, for example lunch time.

The break configuration shows below the selected day, as in this example.

Click Save to apply any changes.

Go to Waiting Area Configuration page
